All ready to factory reset my N95, but NSS (needed for debranding) now refuses to recognise the phone at all!
I have no working GPS, and GMail refuses to connect, and I can't connect to any secure connection sites on the web. Seriously considering an Android after this...
Yep, @rcadden, sounds like a case of a person wanting more value than what they technically paid for from the purchaser. My recomendation is to not go Android, you will be just as fustrated in time. Just purchase straight from the company, attached to no contract, and enjoy the use you want.
@arjw@adonisdemon I've had the phone for 18 months, now out of contract so time to play - NSS has worked previously on this phone (running v21 fw at the moment) so I'm confused as to why it now doesn't.
@WaveyDavey001 Thanks. Work has been so hectic these last few months, and no sign of a let-up yet. No time for extra-curricular activity when you're chained to a desk :-)
@oficant have you recently updated pc suite? Last time I tried NSS it wouldn't work because of a of suite update, removed it and installed an older version and all was well.

lol, ready to move to Android, though 1. you bought a branded unit and 2. you're using unofficial software in an attempt to unbrand said unit.

@ocifant NSS does play up occasionally. Had to install and reinstall a few times before it recognised the handset.
